Immediately After Your Session

Second Skin Protection

Your tattoo will be covered with a protective film (second skin).

• Keep the second skin on for 3–5 days, depending on the size, placement, and sensitivity of the area
• This method helps reduce irritation, prevents infection, and supports clean healing

If the film fills with excessive fluid, leaks, or comes off early, remove it carefully and follow the cleaning instructions below

• Wash the tattoo gently with lukewarm water and a mild, fragrance-free soap
• Pat dry with a clean paper towel - do not rub
• Allow the skin to dry fully before applying any product

After Removing the Second Skin

Care During the First Week

Moisturizing
• Apply a thin layer of tattoo-friendly ointment or fragrance-free moisturizer 2–3 times a day
• Avoid over-applying - too much product can slow healing and clog the skin

Clothing
• Wear loose, breathable fabrics
• Avoid tight clothing that rubs or traps moisture

Hygiene
• Keep the tattoo clean, but do not overwash
• Balance is key - excessive washing can irritate the skin

What to Expect During Healing

• Light peeling and itching are normal and similar to a mild sunburn
Do not scratch, pick, or peel - this can pull out ink and cause scarring
• Let flakes fall off naturally

Things to Avoid While Healing

• No swimming pools, hot tubs, saunas, or baths
• No soaking the tattoo - showers are fine
• Avoid direct sun exposure
• Do not apply alcohol, peroxide, or petroleum-based products

• Keep bedding clean to prevent irritation or ink transfer

Long-Term Tattoo Care

• Moisturize regularly to keep skin healthy
• Use SPF 30+ sunscreen on healed tattoos exposed to the sun
• Limit excessive sun exposure and tanning
• Stay hydrated - healthy skin keeps tattoos looking sharp

Healthy skin equals a healthy tattoo

Following these instructions helps ensure your tattoo heals properly and looks its best for years to come.
